Girl Saved Herself By Sticking Her Two Fingers Up The Alligator's Nose

In 2017, a 10-year-old girl from Florida fought off a deadly alligator attack by sticking her two fingers up the alligator's nose. This forced the alligator to open it's mouth to breathe, which freed the girl's leg and she escaped. She had learned the trick from Gatorland.

She was pulled to shore and rushed to Nemours Children's Hospital, where she was treated for lacerations and puncture wounds in the back of her left knee and lower thigh, the state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.

She was back home with her leg covered in bandages from hip to toe.

"I tried hitting it on its forehead to let me go," Juliana said in an interview on NBC's TODAY. "That didn't work, so I thought of a plan they taught in Gatorland.

The guy was wrestling the alligator with its mouth taped, and in this situation it was the other way around.
